The EM-4GE2/4L is a dual-SIM, four-line wireless communication gateway designed to provide reliable emergency lift communications through true carrier redundancy.
Equipped with dual wireless mobile network cards, the system supports SIM cards from two separate network providers, such as Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone. Users can nominate a preferred carrier, while intelligent failover automatically switches to the secondary network if a service interruption is detected, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity to the help line.
The gateway incorporates four FXS (Foreign eXchange Subscriber) interfaces, providing analogue telephone lines complete with dial tone, battery current, and ring voltage for connection to auto-dialling lift telephones.
Supporting up to four separate lifts from a single gateway, the EM-4GE2/4L features intelligent call queuing, allowing up to two simultaneous emergency calls while providing an on-hold voice message to any additional lifts waiting in the queue.
