Warranty

General

Please Note: Products subjected to misuse or abuse will not be covered by warranty (refer to clause 6). Permanent damage will occur if input voltages exceed the maximum levels specified. HANDLE WITH CARE - CMOS protection required.

  1. In this warranty:
  • The company is referring to Pixel Technologies Pty Ltd
  • ABN 61 164 165 100 in respect of Products purchased in Australia;
  • ‘Product’ means any Pixel Technologies product purchased by you to which this Warranty applies;
  • ‘Warranty Period’ means Period of cover from date of dispatch from Pixel Technologies.
  • 'Period’ is as 18 months for the Lift Monitoring Companies to compensate for the hand over period and 12 months for all else.
  • ‘Extended Warranty Period’ means the period of time for which the Extended Warranty has been purchased.
  1. Pixel Technologies warrants that, when dispatched from a Pixel Technologies warehouse, the Product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for the Warranty Period.
  2. During the Warranty Period Pixel Technologies will, at no extra charge, and subject to these terms and conditions, repair or replace any parts which it considers to be defective.
  3. Service repair parts not supplied by Pixel Technologies are not covered by this warranty.
  4. Proof of purchase is required in order to claim under this warranty.
  5. You may not make a claim under this warranty unless the defect claimed is due to faulty or defective parts or workmanship.
  • Pixel Technologies is not liable in the following situations (which are not exhaustive): The Product is damaged by:
  • Accident
  • Misuse or abuse, including failure to properly maintain or service
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Power surges, sags, electrical storm damage or incorrect power supply
  • Incomplete or improper installation
  • Incorrect, improper or inappropriate operation
  • The Product is modified without written authority from Pixel Technologies.
  • The Products serial number or warranty seal has been removed or defaced.
  • The Product was serviced or repaired by anyone other than Pixel Technologies or its Authorized Service Personnel.
  • The failure is related to a non Pixel Technologies manufactured component and directly related to a third party peripheral.
  1. This warranty, the contract to which it relates and the relationship between you and Pixel Technologies are governed by the law applicable in the Australian State where the Product was manufactured (Victoria).

Third Party Peripherals

As stated previously, this warranty does not cover third-party peripherals manufactured by third-party vendors. These peripherals include, but are not limited by, the following categories:

  • Third-party peripheral devices such as Displays, Inverters, Motherboards, HDD, RAM, Batteries, and Speakers;
  • Third-party peripherals added to a Pixel Technologies Product by the customer; and
  • Third-party peripherals added to a Pixel Technologies Product by any party other than an authorized Pixel Technologies representative.

While Pixel Technologies may supply third-party peripherals with Pixel Technologies Products, the customer should consult the third-party peripheral manufacturer for warranty claims relating to such third-party peripherals. Consult the third party peripheral manufacturer’s warranty information for more information.

Extended Warranty

  1. Extended Warranty is a service offered by Pixel Technologies at the time of purchase which extends the Warranty Period on Pixel Technologies manufactured products.
  2. The Extended Warranty Period of Cover is dependent on which option is purchased (2, 3, 4 or 5 years) and commences from the original date of purchase.
  3. The Extended Warranty Period of Cover includes the standard 18 Month Warranty Period.

Limitation of Liability

  1. To the extent permitted by law:
  • Pixel Technologies excludes all warranties other than as contained on this web page;
  • Pixel Technologies shall not be liable for any loss or damage whether direct or indirect or consequential arising from your purchase, use or non-use of the Product.
  1. Provisions of the Trade Practices Act and State Consumer Legislation in Australia imply warranties or conditions, or impose obligations, upon Pixel Technologies which cannot be excluded, restricted or modi ed. To the extent permitted by law, the liability of Pixel Technologies (if any) arising out of or in relation to the Product or any services supplied by Pixel Technologies shall be limited (where it is fair and reasonable to do so) in the case of a Product, at its option, to the replacement or repair of the Product or the supply of equivalent products or the payment of the cost of replacing the Product or having the Product repaired or of acquiring equivalent Product. Upon being replaced, the parts and/ or Product being replaced become the property of Pixel Technologies.
  2. Subject to these conditions, Pixel Technologies offers all returns and repairs with a back to base warranty.
  3. Freight incurred by Pixel to ship the goods back to the customer will be a cost to the customer and charged by Pixel.

Privacy

You acknowledge that in the event that you make a warranty claim, it will be necessary for Pixel Technologies and its Authorized Agents to exchange information in relation to you.
